An additional session of the Assembly of the Macedonian-American Alumni Association (MAAA) was held on the 10th September 2020, at the entrance of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Skopje, in order to elect the remaining Executive Board member (5 members overall) and to Supervisory Board members (3 members overall). This assembly meeting was a continuation of the one held on 3rd October 2019, when a fifth member of the Executive Board was not elected because Mr. Petar Bogojeski and Mr. Fitim Ljoga had an equal number of votes. Furthermore, since at that assembly no one applied to be a member of the Supervisory Board, a new call for Supervisory Board members was open. Ten candidates applied for these positions, so at the beginning each one of them briefly presented their personal and professional background and their motivation for applying.
Considering the restrictive measures because of the COVID 19 pandemic, MAAA followed all the protection protocols. The session was held outside, everyone was wearing a mask, and kept distance. On the identification table they were disinfection sprays, protective gloves and a pen for each delegate. A total of 54 MAAA members took part in the session. First, they elected Irena Popovska, Gordiana Gjorgova and Valdet Xhaferi, members of the Electoral Committee to take care of the voting procedure. Petar Bogojeski was elected a new Executive Board Member, and Rozita Petrinska Labudović, Ognen Janeski and Primislav Dimovski were elected members of the Supervisory Board.
