The Macedonian American Alumni Association (MAAA) aims to enhance the relationship between the United States and North Macedonia by bolstering bilateral collaboration in the areas of education, culture, and arts, and promoting knowledge transfer initiatives between the citizens and organizations in both countries, and creating meaningful societal value. To achieve this objective, proactive steps have been taken to strengthen the cooperation with the academic community. Among those steps are the initiatives for signing Memorandums of Cooperation with two more state universities in December 2022.

The meeting was followed by a fruitful discussion about further planning of future actions between MAAA and St. “Kliment Ohridski” University.
In addition to this, on December 22nd, a Memorandum of cooperation was also signed with the University of Tetovo, i.e. with the Tetovo University`s rector Prof. Dr. Kushtrim Ahmeti in the University`s premises in Tetovo. This Memorandum is yet another stepping stone towards the cooperation between MAAA and the state universities in North Macedonia.
