Innovation Ecosystems

In the period between 2020 and July 2022,  I attended the  Technology and Innovation World Chicago Fellowship in Chicago, USA (completed post-Covid). Visiting Chicago and seeing first-hand the intricate network of various types of innovation ecosystems functioning empowered me, most assuredly, with knowledge in the area of partnership development and stakeholder engagement segment within my professional scope of work. The uninterrupted exchange through which various key actors of ecosystem exchange information, collaborate together through various niche initiatives is a powerful asset and strength of the ecosystem and is the reason behind its success. Various players and stakeholders of the ecosystem may have similar activities and make strides to develop the ecosystem but they would not consider their competitors as competition but a vital partner in the process of the ecosystem’s maturity evolution. Knowing the manner and pace of establishing a solid ecosystem infrastructure, defining key stakeholders and shaping the interconnection among them, make an innovation ecosystem thrive. Emboldened by the know-how, I have come across multiple stakeholders in the Chicagoan innovation community, who put emphasis on a clearly defined value proposition. Upon completion of my Fellowship I decided to join the international organization Global Cyber Alliance which has a mission to reduce cyber risks and ensure a trustworthy internet globally, via a cosmopolitan approach.
