A motivational and inspirational event took place in the Startup Club Skopje on 22nd December, 2023, during which, three members of MAAA, Prof. Dr. Marina Nacka, Ljubica Angelkova and Vesna Ivanoska showcased inspiring success stories before aspiring women entrepreneurs enrolled in the global Academy for Women Entrepreneurs.  In our country, 40 women are participating in this hybrid capacity-building program, aimed at improving their business and entrepreneurial skills and helping them establish their own business or improve their already established startups. The program is supported by the US Embassy and facilitated by MAAA. In a gesture of encouragement, our MAAA members generously imparted their personal tales of triumph, aiming to offer additional support and peer-to-peer motivation.

Professor Dr. Marina Nacka from the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Food spoke about the key motivational factors for successful business women, including those working in agriculture. The motivation of women to work and create real value is at a very high level worldwide, and she encouraged the participants to never give up on their dreams.

Ljubica Angelkova, a journalist and PR expert, spoke about the necessity of telling one's own authentic stories as the strongest marketing tool and the need for branding products and services as a prerequisite for market success.

Vesna Ivanoska, who has been in a managerial position at Qinshift Academy for 15 years, explained the challenges that every manager has on a daily basis, especially when difficult decisions have to be made, but she also talked about the advantages and qualities that women have in this position.

The upcoming phase entails the presentation of the program's business ideas. We eagerly anticipate learning more about these ventures and witnessing the realization of their business plans and ideas.
