MAAA supports potential young businesswomen through the Academy for Women Entrepreneurs

Author: Neda Dimova Prokic

Young women, potential entrepreneurs from the regions of Štip, Tetovo, Skopje, Bitola, and Ohrid, were introduced to the Academy for Women Entrepreneurs during info sessions organized by MAAA in collaboration with the U.S. Embassy in Skopje. The purpose of these info sessions was to inform all interested women, especially from the IT and creative industries sectors, about the program's benefits.

On September 18th, at the Faculty of Agriculture at Goce Delčev University in Štip, young women — mostly students and graduates from the university in the eastern region of North Macedonia — interested in starting their own businesses or strengthening existing ones, had the opportunity to learn more about the Academy for Women Entrepreneurs. The meeting was opened by MAAA’s president, Ms. Zorica Trajkova Strezovska who explained MAAA's role as the implementer of AWE in our country. The project coordinator, Verica Jordanova, and the facilitator, Tatjana Veljković, then presented the program, shared experiences from last year’s participants, and invited attendees to apply to the open call.
