On 26th April, in the Journalists' club in Skopje, the president of the Macedonian American Alumni Association, Mrs. Verica Jordanova and the president of the Association of Journalists of North Macedonia (AJM), Mr. Mladen Cadikovski signed a Memorandum of Cooperation. At the event, both parties stated that the established cooperation will be a good basis for future joint actions in the field of journalism and networking of media workers, and will open many opportunities for journalists to be part of U.S. development programs.

The event was also attended by Mr. Ognen Janeski, the Organizing Secretary of MAAA, Mr. Gazmend Ilazi, the Exchange and Alumni Coordinator at the U.S. Embassy in Skopje, journalists and MAAA members.

During the event, Mr. Ilazi delivered a presentation about all programs of the U.S. Embassy related to journalism and media, which could give media workers an exceptional opportunity to advance their career, further educate themselves, and share experiences with American colleagues, higher education institutions, and programs of world organizations based in the United States.
