The opening of the 8. Philosophical Film Festival, Thursday

Macedonian American Alumni Association supported the 8th Philosophical Film Festival organized by the Philosophical Society of Macedonia:

The Main Program of the 8. Philosophical Film Festival will take place in the Cinematheque of Macedonia from 12-20 April, 2018 with a rich selection of contemporary films and film classics, combined with lectures by university professors (in the humanities, social sciences or film studies) and masterclasses with filmmakers and scriptwriters from Macedonia and abroad, in an open philosophical reflection with the audience inspired by the films. The screening of the cult American western “The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance” (1962) by John Ford happened on Thursday, 15.02.2018 at Youth Cultural Centre, Frosina Hall starting at17.30 hours.It was attended by approximately 100 high school students. Previously, part of the students had the opportunity to visit the cinematheque of Macedonia and, along with employees from the Republic of Macedonia temple of the film, discovered the film archives.
