It is an honour to serve as President of the Macedonian-American Alumni Association. Our community brings together generations of alumni whose experiences in the United States have shaped their professional paths, broadened their perspectives, and strengthened their commitment to public service, collaboration, and leadership. MAAA exists because of these shared values. We exist because of the belief that learning and engagement do not end when a program ends.

As an Association, we stand on the connection between our two countries, and on the responsibility to contribute meaningfully to the society in which we live. Our role is to create space for dialogue, cooperation, and growth; to support our members in their initiatives; and to ensure that the knowledge and experience gained through U.S. exchange programs continues to benefit our communities, institutions, and future generations.

Leadership, however, is never an individual endeavor. It is a collective process. I am grateful to work alongside the dedicated members of our Executive and Supervisory Boards, and with the wider network of alumni who give their time, expertise, and ideas to strengthen MAAA. Every contribution matters, and every member has a place in shaping the direction of our Association.

My commitment as President is simple - to uphold transparency, foster openness, and encourage meaningful engagement. To preserve what has been built over the past decades while also guiding MAAA toward new possibilities - locally, regionally, and internationally. Together, we will continue to build an Association that reflects the best of our values: integrity, curiosity, inclusion, and service.
