MAAA's Organizational Secretary and Board Member, Ognen Janeski, as our organization's delegate, attended the General Assembly of ENAM - European Network of American Alumni Associations, as well as at the meeting of the Management Board of this umbrella organization for this type of associations from 36 European countries, where MAAA is a full member.

The day before, he participated in the international conference entitled "The future of democracy - where do we go now?", where he also took part in the three held sessions:

- 1. "Impact of the war in Ukraine on the EaP Region";

- 2. "From inequality to inclusion" and

- 3. "The role of civil society and media engagement in democratic development."

The conference was opened with the addresses by the Chairperson of US Government Exchange Program Alumni Association of Georgia - EPAG, Luka Bluashvili, the US Chargé d'affaires in Tbilisi, Allan C. Purcell, the EU Ambassador to Georgia, H.E. Pawel Herczynski and the member of the ENAM Board of Directors and president of the Hungarian Fulbright Association, Győrgy Kovács.

The event was jointly organized in the capital of Georgia - Tbilisi, by ENAM/EPAG, and supported and financed by the US Embassy in Tbilisi.
