Today, at the Faculty of Philology "Blaze Koneski" in Skopje, the first workshop from the "Alumni encouraging community services and extracurricular activities" project was held. Supported by the Embassy of the United States in Skopje, and in cooperation with the University of "St. Kiril and Metodij", Skopje, USS and FSS of UKIM. The president of MAAA, Verica Jordanova, and the members of the executive board, Dr. Zorica Trajkova Strezovska, Irena Popovska and Ognen Janeski, presented the project activities to the present students and called them to take an active part in volunteer activities and the creation of student extracurricular clubs in order to facilitate networking and collaboration between students and a more active student life on university campuses. The students were also addressed by Mr. Gazmend Ilazi, who presented them with the opportunities to participate in the exchange programs of the U.S. Embassy, and the members of MAAA, Elmas Hasanović and Nenad Stojchevski, shared their experiences from their stay at American universities. We thank the presidents of the USS of UKIM and the student assemblies of the faculties at UKIM for their cooperation.
