Today, in the Journalists' Club in Skopje, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Macedonian American Alumni Association - MAAA and the Association of Journalists of Macedonia - AJM. MAAA and AJM exchanged views on the need for joint action in the field of journalism and networking of media workers.
The President of MAAA, Verica Jordanova stressed that the commitment to joint cooperation is especially important. AJM President Mladen Cadikovski also spoke about the need to increase the number of young journalists who would have the opportunity to be part of development programs.
In addition to the MAAA Organizing Secretary, Ognen Janeski, as well as representatives of the journalist and teaching professions, the exchange and alumni coordinator at the U.S. Embassy North Macedonia, Gazmend Ilazi, who made a presentation on all programs and opportunities related to journalism and media was also present at the meeting. Through these programs, media workers have an exceptional chance of advancing, further educating, and sharing experiences with American colleagues, higher education institutions, and programs of world organizations based in the United States.
