Our MAAA member prof. Dr. Doncho Donev organized and implemented a workshop entitled: Ethics in scientific writing and publishing in biomedicine and related fields as part of the Small Grants Program supported by the U.S. Embassy in Skopje in collaboration with the Macedonian Association of Medical Editors (MAME). 

The main purpose of the event was to raise the awareness of young scientists about the international criteria and standards of scientific writing and publishing and therefore prevent unethical behaviour, fraud or plagiarism and pathology of authorship in scientific publishing. 

The guest speakers: Prof. Dr. Emilija Shukarova- Stefanovska, prof. Dr. Vladimir Trajkovski and prof. Dr. Doncho Donev discussed and presented the development of scientific writing skills in scientific work and publishing.
