Macedonian-American Alumni Association organized a youth research symposium at the Youth Cultural Center (YCC) in Skopje as part of the project: "New Opportunities for Alumni Engagement". The purpose of the project was to motivate young people in our country to research and examine certain topics and problems and propose possible theoretical and practical solutions to those issues.

The purpose of this project was to motivate young people, to research/examine certain topics/problems and propose possible theoretical and practical solutions to those issues such as: empowerment of youth in North Macedonia, Science Diplomacy and Digital tools and skills for increasing employability.

The youth research symposium was implemented by three different teams consisting of high school students from the Josip Broz Tito High School- IB Diploma programme mentored by Prof. Dr. Gordiana Gjorgjiova and undergraduate students from the State University of Tetovo, mentored by Prof. Dr. Bashkim Ziberi as well as undergraduate students from the Faculty of Economics at Ss. Cyril and Methodius University of Skopje, mentored by Prof. Dr. Dimitar Jovevski.
